Vlorë Landmark

Inspired by Albania’s rich architectural heritage, this new landmark development will set the tone for the cultural and architectural character of one of Albania’s oldest cities.

Vlorë, known as one of Albania's oldest cities, sits proudly along the Bay of Vlorë where the Adriatic and Ionian Seas meet. Our team was tasked with creating a defining architectural statement that not only reflects the essence of the city but also guides its future development and cultural identity.

Situated at the southern gateway of Vlorë, along the lungomare, this ambitious project aims to become a prominent landmark, welcoming visitors and residents alike to the city and its surroundings. It comprises two distinct sites: a beachfront site and another site nestled into the adjacent hills.

The proposed master plan meticulously integrates the urban waterfront with hillside gardens, optimizing panoramic sea views and preserving a sense of privacy and community. The waterfront zone features a hotel, a multi-use residential tower, a casino, and a spa, designed to complement Vlorë's lungomare while meeting contemporary lifestyle demands. Meanwhile, the hillside gardens offer low-rise residential blocks and additional hotel accommodations, strategically oriented to capture the best vistas while maintaining a serene, village-like ambiance.

Architecturally, the design draws inspiration from Albania's vernacular architecture, reinterpreting traditional elements with a modern touch. Facades are designed to frame spectacular views, while open cores and communal spaces within residences encourage social interaction. Rooftops are envisioned as vibrant social hubs, where residents can gather against the backdrop of Vlorë's stunning bay.

This transformative project serves as more than a mere development; it acts as a bridge between Vlorë's waterfront and its hillside, symbolizing the city's forward momentum and welcoming visitors with open arms. It embodies a vision that honors Vlorë's rich heritage while embracing its future potential, promising an iconic destination that celebrates both natural beauty and cultural legacy.
